April 1998 AAOS Report
Examples of "benchmarking" in orthopaedic
practices, clinical areas and practice management are needed by
the Academy’s health policy department. "Benchmarking"
is a term used when describing how to measure and demonstrate
quality and value of a specific practice and/or treatment. "Benchmarking"
involves a structured, on-going process that compares results
and processes as well as focusing on best results and best practices.
Orthopaedists with examples of "benchmarking" can
