ABOS application deadline announced
Applications for the 2000 recertification examinations from the
American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery (ABOS) are available.
Applicants may select one of three
recertification options-the general
clinical written examination; practice-based
oral examination; or computer-based examination.
Completed applications must be received by May 1.
ABOS also is accepting applications for the 2000
examination for the Certificate of Added
Qualification in Surgery of the Hand; the deadline
for receipt of applications is April 1. All
applications must be requested in writing from G. Paul DeRosa, MD, executive director, ABOS, 400 Silver Court, Chapel Hill, N.C. 27514.
