Coding courses offered in spring
The Academy and KarenZupko and Associates,
a Chicago-based medical consulting and management
firm, will offer two, one-day courses on coding
and reimbursement for orthopaedic surgeons and
their staff. A half-day course entitled
"Improving the Bottom Line: 24 Ways to
Plug Reimbursement Leaks," followed by an
one-day course, "1999 Orthopaedic Coding
and Reimbursement Extravaganza," will
be held April 9-10 in Annapolis, Md., and
April 30-May 1 in Nashville, Tenn. Individuals
do not have to attend both courses; separate
registration is available. For registration
