Volunteer for CME Chairman
The Academy's Educational Programming Committee is seeking volunteers to
assume the role of continuing medical education course chairmen for its
annual "Review and Update for Practicing Orthopaedic Surgeons" courses
held in 2000 and 2001. A two-year commitment is requested. There are two courses held each year in November and December. Academy members interested in assuming the role of course chairman for one of the "Review and Update for Practicing Orthopaedic Surgeons" courses must provide the committee with their experience in planning a continuing medical education course and reasons why they believe they are well-suited for the role as course chairman.
Submissions must be no longer than two pages in length. Submissions
will not be returned. The course chairman selections will be announced in
May 1999. Submission deadline is Feb. 28. Members can review the present
organization of the course on the Academy's web site at www.aaos.org in
the "Medical Education" section or by contacting the fax-on-demand
system at (800) 999-2939 to request documents 3518 or 3522.
