OTA will hold residents basic fracture course
The Orthopaedic Trauma Association (OTA) will hold a basic fracture course for residents Oct. 10 to 13, 2002 in Toronto. Residents attending the course will hear podium presentations from more than 80 trauma surgeons. Topics will include general fracture management, management of the polytrauma patient, wound management in open fractures, non-operative treatment of fractures, and management and prevention of fracture-associated complications. This interactive course includes case presentations, panel discussions, small group discussions and 13 hands-on skills labs. Further details are available on the OTA Web site at www.ota.org.
