PEMR seeks members' educational PowerPoint presentations
If you have a dynamic PowerPoint educational presentation for public
audiences that you would agree to share with other Academy members, the
public education and media relations department (PEMR) would like to talk with you. PEMR is seeking high quality PowerPoint presentations to become part of the Community Orthopaedics Awareness Program (COAP). An online database of AAOS volunteer opportunities is available on the AAOS Web site, www.aaos.org. Just click on "What's New," then look for "Volunteer Vacancy Announcement, Application and Selection System." Once in the database, members can access a list of all committee openings, view detailed committee charges and review information about the qualifications for each committee opening, along with details of the responsibilities and length of term for each vacancy. This program aims to inform public audiences, increase awareness of the conditions treated.
