Live hip surgery featured at OLC
Live satellite transmissions of actual patient surgeries will
be the highlight of the Academy-sponsored "Revision Hip Surgery:
An Advanced Surgical Skills Course," Nov. 14-16, at the Orthopaedic
Learning Center in Rosemont, Ill. Days one and two of the course
will feature satellite transmissions of revision total hip surgery
performed by faculty members Wayne G. Paprosky, MD, and
Lawrence D. Dorr, MD. A two-way audio link also will be
established to allow participants to ask questions as the surgeries
are being performed. Richard F. Santore, MD, and Harry
E. Rubash, MD, are course chairmen. To register, contact the
