AAOS launches new coding hotline service
The AAOS has launched a new coding "hotline" service for members who need help with CPT and ICD coding. Members can also get information on global fee periods, Medicare Correct Coding Initiative recommendations and 2002 Medicare relative values. The hotline service is available Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-5 p.m. (Central Time). Members can choose either a special unlimited service plan or a fee-for-service plan.
