The AAOS Board of Directors has been involved in a search process over the past six months to select a new executive vice president/chief executive officer for the AAOS. Ms. Hackett brings to this position close
to 15 years of senior level, association management
experience, coupled with superb financial and administrative
skills. She is a highly respected leader with demonstrated
experience in directing a professional society. She

and chief operating officer for the American College
of Healthcare Executives, based in Chicago. She previously

Karen, we found a proven leader with the health care

and strategically plan for the future."
