Orthopaedics Update keys in media on orthopaedic news
AAOS conducted an Orthopaedics Update on musculoskeletal disease awareness at a press conference, attended by more than 20 national media representatives, in New York City on Wednesday, Oct. 17. Among the topics covered were articular cartilage treatments; keys to improving care for hip fracture patients; 10 tips for preventing back pain in new moms; and the four sports with the highest level of injury in children, ages 5 to 14: bicycling, basketball, football and roller sports.
