Complimentary patient education video with purchase
Thanks to a grant from Merck, any AAOS member who orders a patient education video from the Academy also will receive a complimentary copy of the 12-minute video, "A Woman’s Strength: What Osteoporosis Could Mean to You," while supplies last.
Targeted at post-menopausal patients, the Merck-produced video looks at the risks and prevention of postmenopausal osteoporosis, emphasizing early detection and management. The program profiles active women who showed no symptoms before their diagnosis and highlights the lifestyle changes they’ve made to manage the disease. Often the diagnosis of osteoporosis brings with it a feeling of hopelessness; this video offers optimism.
