The Academy's Board of Directors has approved holding the 1998 Summer Institute at the Orthopaedic Learning Center in Rosemont, Ill. and the 1999 Summer Institute in a hotel at a yet to be decided site.

The Academy will study the attendance and financial results at both sites to determine the future of the Summer Institute. About 500 orthopaedic surgeons attended the Academy's Summer Institute in Washington, D.C., Sept. 3-7 to take part in surgical skills demonstrations, shown here, and other educational programs.
