AAOS Report - April, 2005

Help us get our story straight

The AAOS will celebrate its 75th Anniversary at the 2008 Annual Meeting in San Francisco, and planning for this milestone is underway. We are looking for historical information, artifacts and stories that tell our history, how the specialty developed and how orthopaedic care has changed lives. Selected material will be featured in our 75-year celebration materials.

Six project teams will shape and define the programs that document the history of orthopaedics: General Orthopaedics, Health Policy, Industry, Military Orthopaedics and Orthopaedic Nursing, AAOS and State Societies, and Specialty Societies. Your service on one of these teams is needed. To volunteer, submit your application by April 21, 2005 through the AAOS Knowledge, Education, Interest (KEI) system at: http://www.aaos.org/cap (password protected).
