ASES offers grants and scholarships
The fellowship is a four-week European exchange fellowship to begin in the fall of 2007. Applicants must be 45 years of age or younger on Dec. 31, 2006; practice in the United States or Canada; be board-eligible or-certified orthopaedic surgeons with a special interest and experience in shoulder and elbow research and patient care. The ASES 2007 Research Grant provides $20,000 for basic or clinical investigations. Guidelines include: orthopaedic departments only; 10-page limit, using the National Institutes of Health R01 format proposal.
