BJD earns support from all U.S. medical schools

In March, the Bone and Joint Decade (BJD) reached a significant milestone: 100 percent of U.S. medical schools have formally endorsed the BJD’s goals. The BJD is a global, multi-disciplinary initiative focused on improving the quality of life for people with musculoskeletal conditions by advancing the understanding and treatment of these conditions through research, prevention and education. The next step for U.S. medical schools is to adopt the guidelines issued by the Association of American Medical Colleges on musculoskeletal medicine education. For more information visit the BJD web site.
