The Cervical Spine Research Society (CSRS) is offering a $3,500 prize for basic or clinical research of the cervical spine. Competing papers must contain original material not previously published or submitted for publication. Manuscripts should not exceed 30 double-spaced pages. One of the authors should be prepared, at personal expense, to attend the CSRS meeting, Dec. 5-7, in Palm Beach, Fla. to present the winning paper. The society hopes that by offering start-up funding, it will encourage new investigations for promising research projects that may eventually receive a grant from the National Institutes of Health.
