Course takes new approach to hip, knee replacement
An AAOS course, "Impact of Emerging Technology on Hip and Knee Arthritis and Reconstruction," takes a new approach to hip and knee replacement, exploring emerging technical developments and treatment options and clarifying where these new hip and knee procedures belong in patient care. Attendee participation and interaction is integral to the direction of the course and the development of an overall group consensus on the role of new hip and knee treatment applications. Various industry sessions will bring additional dimensions to the course. The course includes a multimedia bonus package and a reception as well as dinner with a guest speaker. The course provides 12 hours of Category 1 CME credit and takes place in Phoenix, Ariz., from Oct. 17 to 20. To enroll, call the AAOS customer service department, (800) 626-6726.
