New York Orthopaedic Society will sponsor sessions on 'orthopaedic controversies'

The New York State Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons will hold its second annual "Controversies in Orthopaedic Surgery" on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2003 in New York City. The session will also be teleconferenced to the Twig Auditorium in the Hinshaw Conference Center of Rochester General Hospital in Rochester N.Y. This CME event will incorporate a debate-style format in which noted orthopaedic experts will present different views on controversial issues that face the community-based orthopaedist. The interactive program will include the use of an automated audience response system to tabulate preferences before each session concludes. Co-chairs for the meeting include A. Philip Fontanetta, MD; Joseph M. Lane, MD; and Melvin P. Rosenwasser, MD. For additional information, call Heather G. Bennett, JD, executive director of the New York State Society of Orthopaedic Surgeons at (518) 432-7471.
