The Association of Bone and Joint Surgeons (ABJS), in conjunction with the scientific journal Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research, is sponsoring two awards. Applicants for the Marshall R. Urist Young Investigator Award must be younger than 40 years old at the time of submitting their application. The manuscript must deal with clinical research or clinically relevant laboratory research not previously published as a full paper. The Nicolas Andry Award will be given to an experienced orthopaedic investigator for work dealing with the musculoskeletal system done over an extended period of time. The work should be on-going, and have significantly contributed to orthopaedic knowledge and practice to date. Winning papers will be presented at the ABJS annual meeting and submitted to Clinical Orthopaedics and Related Research for publication. Nov. 30 is the deadline for manuscript submissions.
