Five allied health courses planned for Annual Meeting
Five courses in the Allied Health Program will be offered at the 2003 Annual Meeting in New Orleans. There will be four nursing courses and one OT course.
Dennis Gates, MD, is the chairman of the program. Sam Rosenfeld, MD, chairs the Nursing and Allied Health Committee. All courses will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton New Orleans Riverside.
Feb. 5, "Orthopaedic RN First Assistant: Advancing in Practice." 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Richard Rose, MD, and Cheryl Mains, BSN, RN, ONC, CNOR, RNFA, course co-chairs.
Feb. 5, "The Female Athlete: The Weaker Sex?" 1 to 5:30 p.m., Michelle Cameron, MD, and Jayne Crescimbeni-Pierce, MAT, MN, ONC, NP-C, course co-chairs.
Feb. 6, "Evolution of Total Joint Arthroplasty . . . Revolution in Patient Care," 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Joseph Moskal, MD, and Linda Franklin, RN, ONC, course co-chairs.
Feb. 7, "Knee Arthroscopy and Transplantation," 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Heinz Hoenecke, MD, and Beverly Morris, RN, CNP, course co-chairs.
Feb. 7, "Advancing the Importance of OT and PA Practice," 1 to 5:30 p.m., Dennis Gates, MD, and Cynthia Henderson, OTC, course co-chairs.
