AAOS presents 2005 orthopaedic coding, practice management courses
The 2005 schedule of orthopaedic coding and practice management workshops is now available. An all-day Friday session will feature a 2005 practice management course, "Bachelor's in Orthopaedic Billing," and a Saturday course, "2005 Master's in Orthopaedic Coding."
The workshops, held in cooperation with KarenZupko & Associates, can help participants increase efficiency and profitability. In the Friday course, you'll learn to optimize allowable reimbursement, streamline operations and monitor your practice to ensure that it is on track to produce appropriate revenue, meet patient service expectations and ensure satisfied employees.
The Saturday class will impart vital coding information, such as how to improve the reporting of services by correctly using AMA CPT coding rules and how to apply all modifiers correctly to reduce denials and bundling edits, thus improving payments.
