AOA seeks applicants for fellowship opportunities
The American Orthopaedic Association is seeking applications from orthopaedists for several fellowship opportunities. The Austrian, Swiss, German Fellowship, chaired by Michael J. Yaszemski, MD, PhD, seeks an individual who has completed an orthopaedic surgery residency program. It supports fellowships that do not have existing funds available. The deadline for applications is Feb. 14, 2003. The Japanese-American Traveling Fellowship (JOA), chaired by Robert M. Szabo, MD, MPH, is seeking applications from orthopaedists interested in this traveling fellowship in 2004. American applicants must be less than 40 years old as of Dec. 31, 2003, must be certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and must be U.S. citizens.
