February 1997 AAOS Report

Web site offers exam questions, JAAOS abstracts

Every month, ten questions from the Academy's Special Interest Self-Assessment Examination series will be available on the home page. Visitors to the Academy's web site can test their knowledge on orthopaedic topics such as shoulder and elbow, hip, knee, spine, foot and ankle, trauma, sports medicine, musculoskeletal tumors and diseases and pediatrics. Located in the "What's New" section of the home page, questions and a list of possible answers are presented. Visitors select an answer to each question and a detailed explanation will be given as well as a list of references for review. The Academy's home page also offers abstracts from the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons: A Comprehensive Review, starting with the January/February 1997 issue. Abstracts are available in English, German, Greek, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish translations. They can be found in the "What's New" section of the Academy's home page at http://www.aaos.org.
