January 2002 AAOS Report

'Your Schedule' can be downloaded to your Palm Pilot

The web site's Make Your Own Schedule module for the Annual Meeting has been enhanced for 2002. Courses that members have pre-registered for will automatically be added to their personal schedule if they use their member ID number to create their own schedule. The reporting screens have also been re-formatted and should be much easier to read. Under the "view schedule in grid format" option, details of each scheduled event will pop-up when the cursor is placed on any of the filled cells. Once your schedule has been completed (including any personal or social events), it can be downloaded into a Palm Pilot compatible personal digital assistant. This option is found under the "view events on schedule" section. A small program named AAOS 2002 will be added to your PDA's menu. When you click on the program's icon, all events created in Make Your Own Schedule will be added to your PDA's Date Book. A similar interface for Compaq IPAQ computers will be available in mid-January, 2002. Note: You must first download the calendar onto the computer you regularly use to hot-synch with your PDA.
