During 2004, the AAOS, in cooperation with Karen Zupko & Associates, will present two workshops in cities throughout the nation to increase efficiency in the practices of orthopaedists.
The all-day Friday workshop, "Practice Management Course for 2004," helps practitioners keep pace with changing healthcare practices, optimizing reimbursement and streamlining operations. The Saturday course, "2004 Masters in Orthopaedic Coding," will cover such topics as re-engineering coding practices, documentation, maximizing coding personnel effectiveness and surgeon responsibilities for coding.
Registrants can sign up for either or both courses. The 2004 courses will be held in Dallas, Jan. 16-17; Las Vegas, Nev., Feb. 6-7; Orlando, Fla., Feb. 19-20; Chicago, March 5-6; Phoenix Ariz., March 26-27; Annapolis, Md., April 16-17; New York City, May 14-15; Seattle, June 18-19; Denver, Aug. 19; San Diego, Sept. 17-18; Boston, Oct. 1-2; and Chicago, Nov. 12-13. The course in Denver is one day, featuring only the Saturday program.
