The 2006 Annual Meeting: Your top source for products and services
The 2006 Annual Meeting, March 22-26 at Chicago’s McCormick Place, is an excellent source for products and services developed with the orthopaedic surgeon in mind. Plan to visit to the AAOS Resource Center Bookstore and the Exhibit Hall.
AAOS Resource Center
The AAOS Resource Center Bookstore will be located in Hall B. Browse through a complete selection of AAOS publications, self-assessment examinations and practice management resources—all on display and available for purchase. New releases include Orthopaedic Knowledge Update (OKU) Trauma 3, OKU Hip and Knee Reconstruction 3, Instructional Course Lectures, Vol. 55, and new titles in the Complications in Orthopaedics and Monograph series. Watch demonstrations and try your hand with our new electronic media programs, including Athlete’s Elbow, Surgical Techniques in Orthopaedics and Selective Exposures in Orthopaedic Surgery. Plan to attend a Code X coding database demonstration and take advantage of Annual Meeting discounts and special offers.
The Resource Center Bookstore hours are 7:30 a.m.-6 p.m., Wednesday through Friday; 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m., Saturday; and 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m., Sunday.
Technical exhibit hall
There’s so much to see! The technical exhibits at the AAOS 2006 Annual Meeting offer the best opportunity to compare products, attend demonstrations and have questions answered by representatives from more than 450 companies from around the world.
Exhibits have been organized to help you navigate the exhibit floor: Diagnostic Equipment, New Exhibitors, Practice Productivity and Publishers & Educators are located in designated areas in Hall A. All booths are also identified with their booth number on the aisle carpet.
New features this year include extended exhibit hours, unopposed exhibit time, and beverage breaks. These changes have been made to provide you with adequate time to visit the exhibits. Exhibits will open at 9 a.m. each exhibit day, one hour earlier than at previous AAOS Annual Meetings. One hour of unopposed exhibit time will be provided each exhibit day from 12:30 p.m.-1:30 p.m.
For your convenience, food concessions and seating areas will be located throughout the exhibit hall. Visit the exhibits at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday-Friday for a complimentary beverage during the afternoon break between scientific sessions.
