New skills course will present evolving techniques for ankle arthritis

From osteochondral grafting to viscosupplementation, emerging technology is advancing the treatment of ankle arthritis. “Evolving Techniques and ‘Gold Standard’ Procedures for Ankle Arthritis,” led by course directors Thomas O. Clanton, MD, and Richard M. Marks, MD, is a new surgical skills course offering a unique opportunity to learn and practice allograft joint replacement, distraction arthroplasty and ankle arthroplasty. A diverse and knowledgeable faculty will present these techniques in a hands-on surgical setting. This course will be held Sept. 30-Oct. 2 at the Orthopaedic Learning Center in Rosemont, Ill.
