Volunteers sought to assume role of CME chairmen
The Academy's Educational Programming Committee is seeking volunteers to assume the role of continuing medical education course chairmen for its annual "Review and Update for Practicing Orthopaedic Surgeons" courses held in 2002 and 2003. A two-year commitment is requested. There are two courses held each year in November and December. Academy members interested in assuming the role of course chairman for one of the "Review and Update for Practicing Orthopaedic Surgeons" courses must provide the committee with their experience in planning a continuing medical education course and reasons why they believe they are well-suited for the role as course chairman. Submissions, which must be no longer than two pages, will not be returned. The course chairman selection will be announced in Oct. 2001. Submission deadline is Aug. 31. Members can review the organization of the course on the Academy's web site, www.aaos.org.
