June 2003 AAOS Report

Legacy of Heroes exhibit takes cross-country tour

The Legacy of Heroes traveling multimedia exhibit will make its first scheduled stop at the Washington State Orthopaedic Association at Swedish Medical Center, University of Washington Medical Center, in Seattle from June 16-July 31. The exhibit is booked through 2003 and into 2004. Due to an overwhelming demand for the exhibit, a grant has been provided by Sanofi-Synthelabo to create a second Legacy of Heroes Exhibit. The second exhibit can be seen at Keller Army Hospital in West Point, NY from May 27- July 7, and then moves on to the Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, D.C. from July 9-16. To bring the exhibit to your location, please contact Sandra Gordon at (847) 384-4030, gordon@aaos.org, or Addy Kujawa at (847) 384-4033, kujawa@aaos.org.
