ASES offers fellowship and grant
Applications are now being accepted for the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons’ (ASES) 2007 Exchange Fellowship and 2007 Research Grant. The fellowship is a four-week European exchange fellowship to begin in the fall of 2007. Applicants must practice in the United States or Canada; be board-eligible or certified orthopaedic surgeons with a special interest and experience in shoulder and elbow research and patient care; and be 45 years of age or younger on Dec. 31, 2006.
The ASES 2007 Research Grant provides $20,000 for basic or clinical investigations. Guidelines include: orthopaedic departments only; 10-page limit, using NIH-R01 format proposal.
