June 1999 AAOS Report

Discussion groups can post images

Participants of the members-only discussion groups on the Academy's web site now can attach images (e.g., X-rays) to their messages for help in describing difficult cases. Instructions on how to place images are listed in the "Table of Contents" area of the "Discussion Groups" section of the AAOS web site at www.aaos.org. Discussion groups on "Hip and Knee," "Shoulder and Elbow," "Spine," "Foot and Ankle" and "Sports Medicine" have the capacity for users to post images. The discussion groups also have another new feature that allows members to receive, via e-mail, new messages once they are posted to any or all of the groups. To participate, you must subscribe to the groups that you want to receive new postings by entering your e-mail address and name.
