Aging patient focus of breakfast meeting

The Academy's Committee on Aging invites those with an interest in the musculoskeletal care of the aging patient to a breakfast meeting on Thursday, March 11, 2004, 6:30-8 a.m. at the San Francisco Marriott, Nob Hill B-C. "Medicare Reimbursement Issues" is the focus, with guest speaker Peter A. Hollman, MD. Dr. Hollman is the senior medical director for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Rhode Island, which administers a Medicare + Choice health plan. He is a member of the AMA CPT Editorial Panel and serves as the Panel representative to the Resource-Based Relative Value Scale Update Committee (RUC). He has been both a CPT and an RUC advisor from the American Geriatrics Society (AGS) presents annually to the AGS annual meeting on coding and reimbursement matters and serves on the AGS's Public Policy and Practice Management Advisory Committees. Dr. Hollman also has practiced as a geriatrician and internist in Rhode Island for 20 years. Learn more about this significant patient population.
