DVD Series debuts: Standing Room Only
The Academy's latest double-disk multimedia learning series, Standing Room Only, is your ticket to the most popular orthopaedic skills courses held at the Orthopaedic Learning Center. With Daniel J. Berry, MD, serving as medical editor, each DVD will focus on a particular course and offer a selection of educational features, such as lectures, surgical demonstrations and self-assessment questions to test what you've learned. Each program also includes faculty discussions about actual clinical cases. The programs offer online access to additional lectures and surgical demonstrations recorded during each course. Standing Room Only will help you review and reinforce a course that you attended, or it will highlight the key issues of a course that you weren't able to attend.
The debut title in the series is Knee Arthroplasty: Insight and Evaluations of New Techniques, which was held at the OLC in November 2004. You can review the latest techniques for both primary and revision TKA, learn how to achieve the best exposure and avoid potential complications. The disc includes five lectures and six hours of video.
Earn up to 6 Category 1 CME credits. Cost of the program is $119 for AAOS members.
