Orthopaedists from 129 countries will descend on sunny San Diego August 23-30, 2002 for an historic gathering-the largest international meeting in orthopaedics ever held in the United States. High-tech orthopaedics will be the theme of the 22nd World Congress of the Societe Internationale de Chirurgie Orthopedique at de Traumatologie/the International Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology (SICOT). SICOT is a worldwide orthopaedic association of specialized surgeons and researchers devoted to the advancement of orthopaedics and traumatology on an international level. The triennial meeting will commence with a welcoming reception on August 23, followed by a two-day scientific program. All of the subspecialty society meetings are open to registrants.
