AOA~Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management launch leadership series
The American Orthopaedic Association (AOA), in partnership with Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, has created the AOA~Kellogg Leadership Series, a program aimed at developing leaders in orthopaedics. Its goal is to educate orthopaedists to think and act productively inside and outside the practice setting and give participants an opportunity to learn about leadership as it relates to business issues, community involvement, advisory appointments and governance affairs. The AOA~Kellogg Leadership Series will be presented in module format with each module spanning one week. A total of three modules will be presented.
Registration is now underway at the AOA Web site (www.aoassn.org). Module One, which will focus on using leadership research to advance organizational success, will be offered Nov. 7-9, 2003, and again March 26-28, 2004. For more information, call (847) 318-7330.
