Stiehl, MD, secretary . . . The Knee Society announces its 2003 executive board: Cecil H. Rorabeck, MD, president; Merrill A. Ritter, MD, first vice president; Russell E. Windsor, MD, second vice president; Gerard A. Engh, MD, third vice president; Michael A. Kelly, MD, secretary; and Douglas A. Dennis, MD, treasurer . . . Frank J. Eismont, MD, director of orthopaedic surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital/Jackson Health System in Miami, received the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education's Parker J. Palmer "Courage to Teach" award . . . Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the National Capital Consortium announce that Lt. Colonel (LTC) Timothy R. Kuklo, MD, has been named residency program director at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Dr. Kuklo follows LTC William C. Doukas, MD, who has served as the interim director. Dr. Doukas remains as chief of Orthopaedic Surgery Service . . . Frank R. DiMaio, MD, is the new chairman of orthopaedic surgery at Winthrop University Hospital in Mineaola, N.Y.
