The Clinician Scientist Programs Committee has selected the 2004 AAOS/OREF Clinician Scientist Traveling Fellowship Program recipients. The Traveling Fellowship was created to encourage clinician scientists early in their careers to undertake research activities by providing learning opportunities and a limited amount of financial support. Three orthopaedic clinician scientists were chosen this year. They are Christopher Allan, MD, University of Washington; Francis Young-In Lee, MD, Columbia University; and Javad Parvizi, MD, Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University. Applications for the 2005 program will be available in August.
