The Academy and the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses (NAON) are seeking applicants for its research grant program. Three awards are being offered to orthopaedic nurses for research concepts or projects that are primarily patient-focused and will affect the outcome of the orthopaedic nursing practice. An application detailing the proposed research project must be received by Sept. 15 at the NAON office. Research projects do not need to be completed by the application deadline. Winners will present their projects at the NAON Annual Congress, May 18-22, 1997, in Philadelphia.
