November 2001 AAOS Report

Go online to complete 2002 member census

The 2002 AAOS member survey to update the profile of orthopaedic practice in the United States will arrive soon. This year, you can complete your survey online and save both time and postage. Survey results enable AAOS to represent the specialty not only in Washington, D.C., but throughout the nation and the world. They also allow AAOS to tailor programs that respond to members' needs. In mid-November, AAOS Fellows and candidate members with an e-mail address on file will be notified of the census online link. Members for whom AAOS has no e-mail address can find the link in the Member Services section of the home page, www.aaos.org, or will receive the address link notice and a print copy of the census in early January. The AAOS Board of Directors urges all members to respond to the notice. The goal for the 2002 Census is not only to reach a 100 percent participation rate, but to reduce the time and contacts involved in member response. When you receive notification, please take 15 minutes and go online. Access will require your last name and AAOS member number.
