AAOS introduces OrthoStar
OrthoStarTM is a new software program that converts the orthopaedic surgeon's hand-held personal computer into a tool that can help you better manage accounts receivables and cash flow, reduce the number of rejected claims, improve efficiency of surgical scheduling and enhance dictation of OR reports. The AAOS has entered into a business arrangement with Aristar, Inc., led by Ian J. Alexander, MD, the orthopaedic surgeon who created OrthoStar. The software comes in three versions. OrthoStar Basic transfers information to the office server via modem or direct sync and accounts receivables, giving billing personnel convenient access to charges for generating summary billing reports. You can learn more about subscribing to OrthoStar Basic ($199 annually), Plus ($499 first year) and Premium ($499 first year).
