Volunteers needed to build safe, accessible playground
Show your commitment to injury prevention and accessibility by signing up now to help build the fifth annual Safe, Accessible Playground on Tuesday, March 9, 2004. The playground built by volunteer orthopaedic surgeons and their families, orthopaedic partners and organizations and media and community representatives will take form in San Francisco the day before the Annual Meeting begins. The Alvarado Elementary School, serving public school children in grades K-5 and located a few miles from the Convention Center, has been chosen as the 2004 site. The success of this event depends on your time and effort; for as many hours as you can, please join your colleagues for a fun day of food, music and playground building.
Transportation to and from the site is provided every hour. Visit the web site to sign up. If you have questions or need additional information, contact public relations.
Meet you at the playground!
