2005 Annual Meeting: Plan ahead to get preferred courses

For the first time since 1992, the AAOS Annual Meeting will convene in Washington, D.C., Feb. 23-27, 2005, in the new Washington Convention Center. "“Washington, D.C., is the ideal site for our next Annual Meeting," said Colin F. Moseley, MD, Annual Meeting Committee chair. The Program Committee and the Instructional Course Committee have developed an impressive program, with 435 original scientific papers, 479 poster presentations, 34 symposia and 180 instructional courses. The Exhibit Committee has selected 78 scientific exhibits.

Attendance at Instructional Courses is by ticket only, and registration is limited. In 2005, the Academy presents a special ticket discount program for U.S. orthopaedic residents to attend instructional course lectures. Residents will pay only $25 per ticket for two- or three-hour courses.

The advance price of the Orthopaedic Review Course is $175; for residents, it’s $85. For more information about the 2005 Annual Meeting, go to www.aaos.org, and click on 'Annual Meeting.'
