AAOS Bulletin to go monthly in 2007
Recognizing that “communication is mission-critical,” the AAOS Board of Directors approved increasing the publication schedule for the AAOS Bulletin to monthly, in 2007. The monthly Bulletin will have an exciting new look, new features and a new name.
“There is nothing more important than communicating with our members and providing them with the information they need to make sound business and clinical decisions,” said AAOS President Richard F. Kyle, MD. “Taking the Bulletin monthly enables us to keep our members up-to-date on important issues and responds to member requests for more coverage of practice management, coding, reimbursement and advocacy issues.”
Bulletin editor-in-chief S. Terry Canale, MD, plans to strengthen reporting on “hot topics” and take a more focused, journalistic approach to content. “We will be introducing new features, clinical reporting and coverage of specialty society meetings. The emphasis will be on members sharing their experiences—particularly of what works—in a very practical way.”
The redesigned publication will make its debut at the 2007 AAOS Annual Meeting, in addition to being mailed to all AAOS members. Watch for it!
