AANA seeks applicants for research awards, grants

The Research Committee of the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) is accepting applications for research awards and grants, which will be given for clinical or basic science research in the field of arthroscopic surgery or disorders amenable to arthroscopic treatment. Three such awards are available. Two are the resident/fellow essay awards, and one is the Richard O' Connor Award. All carry a $1,000 to $2,000 honorarium. Amounts for the research grants vary, depending on need and quality of the work submitted. Special consideration will be given to inexperienced investigators. Deadline for submission is Dec. 1, 2000. To receive an application, write to the AANA, 6300 N. River Road, Suite 104; Rosemont, Ill. 60018, or call, (847) 292-2262.
