AOA seeks fellowship applicants

The American Orthopaedic Association is seeking applications from orthopaedists for fellowship consideration. The 2002 ASG Traveling Fellowship to Austria, Switzerland and Germany is open to American orthopaedists between the ages of 40 and 46. The deadline for applications is April 1, 2001. Fahey, MD, Memorial North American Traveling Fellowship is open to North American orthopaedists who have completed an orthopaedic residency on or after June 30, 1997 or who entered directly into military service after completing an orthopaedic residency on or after June 30, 1996. Howard Hatcher Pathology Fellowship seeks an individual who has completed an orthopaedic surgery residency program. It specifically supports fellowships that do not have existing funds available. For information, contact Frank J. Frassica, MD, chair, (847) 318-7353. The 2001 AOA-Zimmer Travel Awards are open to orthopaedic residents in the United States. Manuscripts in the JBJS format must be an original work in which the resident participated. One resident winner will be selected from each of six regions. For more information, contact, Gary E.
