AOA seeks fellowship applicants
The American Orthopaedic Association (AOA) is seeking applications from orthopaedists for fellowship consideration. The C. Howard Hatcher Pathology Fellowship seeks an individual in the United States or abroad who has completed an orthopaedic surgery residency program, or its equivalent. It specifically supports fellowships that do not have existing funds. Applicants must obtain a fellowship before seeking the support of this fund. For more information, contact, Ernest U. Applications are now being accepted from U.S. and Canadian orthopaedists for the 2003 ABC Traveling Fellowship to Australia, Great Britain and New Zealand. The tour is open to orthopaedic surgeons who are board certified and less than 40 years old, as of Dec. 31, 2002. The deadline for U.S. applications is Dec. 15, 2001. The 15th annual AOA-Zimmer Travel Awards are open to U.S. residents. Manuscripts must be original work, and one resident winner will be selected from each of six regions.
