AAOS/OREF/ORS Clinician Scientist Development Program application now online
The application and program information for orthopaedic residents interested in participating in the Fourth Annual AAOS/OREF/ORS Clinician Scientist Development Program (CSDP) is now available on the AAOS Web site. The purpose of the CSDP is to identify and mentor PGY1-PGY5 orthopaedic residents with potential as clinician-scientists. The residents will attend a three-day seminar that includes participation in the AOA-OREF-Zimmer Resident Leadership Forum held prior to the AOA’s Annual Meeting. This seminar will provide the residents with an orientation to the research environment including research history, funding sources and orthopaedic research organizations. It will also provide the opportunity for them to meet and interact with other research professionals and to establish a mentor relationship. This meeting will be held June 19-21, 2006, in San Antonio, Texas. Travel expenses and registration fees will be covered by the CSDP. The deadline for application submission is Dec. 1, 2005.
