Societies set October, November meetings

The Academic Orthopaedic Society (AOS) will hold its annual meeting, Oct. 31-Nov. 1, in Washington, D.C. Scheduled presentations include "Outcomes and Clinical Research Symposium," "Grant Writing Symposium" and "Faculty Compensation in a Capitated Environment." On Oct. 16-19, OTA will sponsor the "Resident's Basic Fracture Course"-a hands-on laboratory and lecture course. For more information, contact the OTA office at (847) 698-1631 . . . The Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) will sponsor the "16th Annual Fall Course," Nov. 6-9, in Nashville, Tenn.
