Participate in Orlando's 'Teddy Bear Project 2000'

The Extended Program of the Annual Meeting is encouraging attendees to participate in the "Teddy Bear Project 2000," a program that will donate hundreds of new teddy bears to "Give Kids the World," "Serenity House" and "The Center for Children and Families" - three non-profit organizations in Orlando.

"Give Kids the World," annually gives more than 4,000 children who have life-threatening illnesses (and their families) a free, six-day trip to Disney World and other Florida at-tractions, including a visit with Mickey Mouse. "Give Kids The World Kids Club" is part of this program and is supported by Orlando businesses. Youths aged 3-18 from Central Florida who are ill can participate in activities in the Orlando area.

"Serenity House" is affiliated with the Pediatric AIDS Foundation and serves HIV infected and affected children and their families. "The Center for Children and Families" helps 5,300 children each year who have developmental disabilities, HIV-AIDS, a teen pregnancy or who have experienced sexual or physical abuse or neglect.
