OREF welcomes new board members

The Board of Trustees of the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation (OREF) approved nominations for the new 2007-2008 board members and officers during its meeting yesterday.
John J. Callaghan, MD, will succeed Charles A. Rockwood, MD, as chair-man of the board. Regis J. O’Keefe, MD, will take over the role of secretary from William C. McMaster, MD.
New board members include James R. Andrews, MD; David J. Illingworth, chief operating officer for Smith + Nephew; Ramon L. Jimenez, MD, and Richard D. Nikolaev.
OREF officers for 2007-2008 are: John J. Callaghan, MD, chair; Thomas A. Einhorn, MD, vice chair, grants; William P. Cooney III, MD, vice chair, development; S. Terrance Canale, MD, vice chair, corporate relations; H. Michael Immel, vice chair, national board; Regis J. O’Keefe, MD, secretary; William J. Robb III, MD, treasurer; William P. Cooney III, MD, chair-elect; and Charles A. Rockwood, MD, past chair.
